????What do I know to true????

On this subject of truth I think many things exist. The question is “Is it true.” Like as if separating myth from reality. I think that it is true that dinosaurs existed. The reason I think that is because we have proof. We have fossils and bones to prove it. Its just i believe things more when I see them. We have a lot more things to prove about the dinosaurs and what they did but I sill believe it now. I think that they died by an earthquake and some are still alive in the sea.

3 @spects of my Culture

The first aspect of my culture is the pinata. It is something that we have at parties like for our birthdays. We stuff them with candy and then after we stuff them we take turns hitting the pinata. Then the first won to hit it wins (i guess) all that we get is all the candy we can get. Then the second aspect is the food. I love the Mexican food that we make but who doesn`t. I mean my favorite is rice with milk in English form. Also tamales that’s what my family make every year for Christmas but that’s the only time that we get to eat them. The last but not least aspect of my culture is the cloths and music. I think that they both fall as one because like for us if we go to a dance party they go in a tux and a dress. so it is the same in the Mexican culture we have a quinceanera but that is only for the girls to celebrate the 15th birthday. The guys have nothing but its cool i guess because were men.

Success to me is completing my goals and knowing that I have complete them. Success is having my health,family,money,and a good job. I would want to be just an above average person. For people to know who I am and say look there he is. It is to have a nice car and have a nice house. Live without worrying about money because I know that I will always have some. That is success to me.

Hall Street Associates, L.L.C. v. Mattel, Incorporated

The case that we did was Hall Street Associates, L.L.C. v. Mattel, Incorporated. This case involved the Hall Street Associates and Mattel Incorporated. Hall Street Associates had leased a manufacturing plant to Mattel Incorporated. Mattel didn’t clean up a water contamination problem that it had. Hall Street Associates sued Mattel to clean it up and look into why they weren’t cleaning it. The Supreme Court said that both of the parties had gone over their limits into looking in their defense. So the Supreme Court decided to put the case on hold to see how far they had gone over the FAA’s limits. The question was “Did the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals err when it held, in conflict with several other Federal Courts of Appeals that the Federal Arbitration Act (FAA) precludes a federal court from enforcing the parties’ clearly expressed agreement providing for more expansive judicial review of an arbitration award than the narrow standard of review otherwise provided for in the FAA. This case has not yet been decided and is still in the Supreme Court.

We feel that I am for this case to go through and pass through the court and put in limits in Judicial Review cases that involve the FAA. This would be good because that way in future cases they wouldn’t have to wait to find out if they had gone over the limit with the FAA in these types of cases. This would also solve our cases with the judicial review in the FAA. That’s why I am for it.

I think that these two chapters are summarized by the word heroism. In these chapters it has to do alot with heroism. In chapter five Jhonny showed heroism because he was willing to turn himself in to the police. This took a lot of courage to do because no one wants to go to jail. In chapter six Ponyboy and Jhonny showed heroism. They both showed heroism by risking their lives in order to save the five little kids trapped inside the burning church. They went into the burning church once they heard the children creaming for help. They helped the kids get out safe even though part of the roof was falling down. This took a lot of courage most kids wouldn’t go into a burning place just to save other kids. One reason why they saved the children was because they believed they had caused the fire. Even though they might of caused the fire they still showed heroism. They showed heroism because someone else would of probably left the kids and run away from the fire. I think that they didn’t start the fire because they were really careful with the cigarettes they had.

1.What kind of relations so you see in The Veldt?

2.How do you see power and how is it displayed?

I think that their are two different types of relationships in the story. The two different types of relationships are between the children and the parents. The children’s relationship was way stronger that the parents. The children worked as one to get rid of the parents. The parents relationships were not as strong as the children. They fell into the children’s trap. The children were able to think of everything to get what they wanted. The children interacted with each-other more because they bonded in the room. The boy was talking back to the dad and the dad did nothing. At the end the children over took the house and got what they wanted again.

The word that I chose is culprit. They are on the run because of what Johnny did. After johnny did that they had to hide in a church.They were also had to cut their hair and bleach it. That sucked for them because their hair was the only thing they really had.

Desire Vs. Need

Desire is something that you want not that you need. The stuff that you need are very important. The stuff you need is water, food, and cloths. Desire is stuff like soda, cakes, and cable. Needing stuff to survive is what mostly get you through life.

Having verything you desire is sometimes good and sometimes bad. If you have everything theirs nothings left to buy. So Sometimes its not so fun. You can show off what you have. For me i would love to hae everything I desire.
